Ahhh.. now that is interesting. I did grind holo's until the holocron went silent and did a few more after that to see if I got lucky. All this was no fun whatsoever so I gave it up.

So not my insatiable curiosity is asking the question... How far into Padawan am I?

I am not even glowy yet, but it sounds like I just need to hit some POI's and maybe fininsh the Warren. I aleady have the widow badge, just never finished the whole thing.

Time to dust of the adventuring gear it seems.

Not to mention that when you've mastered a Holo Profession you don't have to go through the Hassle of grinding FS XP for that particular tree you get the train in the whole tree for free if I'm not mistaken. That's the real bonus

Youd get to have at least 4 of the 6 branches you need without converting XP. You'd be well into your path of being a Padawan. Plus if any other profession happened to be one of the others you needed you'd also get a branch for that. At most you'd only need to grind 2 more branches on your own. Lucky bum.

When I was grinding BOUNTY HUNTER, I did not feel lucky. Mind you, this was before vehicles. And the missions were bugged about 20% of the time.

Each mission would take about 40 min minimum, round trip. I probably spent close to 100 hours on the BH xp alone.

So you could say that I paid my dues. Now I am thinking I might need to go cash in.

The thing is, I really just want the extra character. :P

From what I read you need 8 (some say 6) of the trees filled to unlock your Padawan character. So if you have most of those filled you're that much closer. Still, expect a bit of time before you unlock it.

So who wants to help me with the Warren and the POI's?

Regardless, I don't intend to grind harcore. I have to much fun with the RP I can't see myself becoming a grinder again. I don't want to go back to the dark times.

I need to do the Warren and Nym's with Arifo. I already did the Warren with E-bo so it should be easy as long as we can get the letter.

Thats the real beauty of this system. You don't have to do anything you wouldn't normally do to get to your goal.

For me, I'm a Master Swordsman. Now instead of fighting various tough creatures and mobs for no XP the XP I get goes towards these new FS skills. It may convert down to very little XP but I don't care if that prolongs the process. Thats a good thing.

So when Ekade dances the XP she gets that was useless to her as master is now good for something. Same thing when she fights with a sword.

Plus, XP is grouped so you don't need specific types. All combat type XP converst to FS Combat XP. Very nice indeed.

- a few others including ranged and heavy weapons and bounty hunter xp, ooh. .a bunch of tailor crafting XP as well

Arifo, we have a date! I already have the Widow and 3 of the 4 evidence disks. If things work out, hopefully we can do this soon.

I am pissed about having to break my template to have this work. I dont know what I want to give up. :|

If anyone wants to do the Warren I'd be happy to guide you to the best of my ability. Just be prepared that if it's packed it takes awhile for the items to respawn. Really all you need to get glowy is a trip to Tattooine and one to Dantooine. Tat has the 2 hard POI badges plus 1 Jedi, and 1 content for Jabba's Palace and another if you do the corvette. Dantooine has another Jedi badge plus the 2 Warren Content badges. If you've done Nym and 1 Theme park you're pretty much glowy. It should only take 2 days to go from zero to glowy. If anyone wants a hand just Leave me a PM with your interest and we can set up a time for this weekend or possibly even tonight if I have a chance, just let me know what works for you. If you're interested and let me know ASAP I maybe able to get to the warren before this weekend and get all the loot so all you have to do is deliver everything. Just let me know.

Oh yeah you only have to have 24 free skill points. You won't even feel it....much.

Yes, I need whatever it takes to finish the warren. I have the Compassion badge already.

If its like the other day all you will have to worry about is hitting all the evidence spots. everything else should be open and all the badguys should be dead.

Ok, I'll see what I can get between now and say Friday night? Would that work for everyone? Does anyone else have the compassion badge? That's actually the hardest one to get really. And if that doesn't work for anyone else all I need to do is give you the evidence and you can deliver it whenever you have the time.
