(Split) Why Ekade should get ROTW

I have a theroy that the scientest some how aquired one of the schematics of greavous and then put it to droid parts. So this greavous is not part real but all machine but that is pure theory.

I have a theory that Seret really likes to wear hawtpants, but you will never see him in them ever...

I subscribe to that theory.

I also have evidence suggesting he leads an all-male-hawtpants-wearing dance troupe on another server. This is why he is rarely seen on Gorath.

I believe what we're all trying to say here is... We'll play with you wither or not you have the expansion, Ekade. If you do get it... there are benefits to buying it; and a lot of the same old stuff as well.

If you do get it; get it as an expansion by buying something like The Total Experience so you get the extra goodies like the Barc Speeder. And, of course, to adventure around with some of us.

RP will go on at any rate; so will hunts; and random parties; and spicy tells....

You get the idea.

RotW= a different location and more loot for ya. It also equals a lot of the same type quests you see throughout the galaxy. But it 'is' fun. If you go with a group.

Ekade: ROTW is much better than JTL and you bought JTL.

In JtL I could be just as good as any other pilot. That and Fox Force Five was teh pwn.

Jtl Could have been so cool had they not made it so all your hard earned components would break so easily.. or if fights were more than 1 hit 4 teh win. I had hoped we would have had a lot more space-duelling and perhaps some RP space adventures with it.

I recall there was a lot more discussion on JtL around here than there ever was on ROTW. We were all into JtL for about 2 months. Aside from the occasional lewt post, or a help-me-with-my-mission post, there is not much said about ROTW. I guess I wanted to see if this expansion had more legs than the last.

It seems like most of the hunting groups I see forming still hunt on places like Dant.

I would like to mention a few things on the pro Ekade-might-like-Kashyyk side. Many folks that like you that are
hybrid combat/non-com characters quest there successfully. Iago,
Rinna, Bellissima, Dya, Xyryn, to name a few. If Iago can repeated
quest successfully on Kashyyk there is no reason you couldn't.

I stress quest, not grind, I don't hunt for exp myself. I have multiple accounts and all my characters are where they want to be, and I have no interest in jedi. If you want to adventure with friends for some neat item
while having an aged wookiee chieftain thank you for saving their forest
home from devastation then Kash might be for you. If you want to adventure with friends while descending through the depths of a crystal filled cavern to eliminate the threat of a vile arachnid matriarch, then Kash may be for you. If for shiites and giggles you want to help the wookiees gain their freedom from their scaly slavers by indiscriminantly
elminating evil trandoshans, then Kash might be for you.

With regards to your template I totally understand how you feel with regards to your new combat limitations. That being said I'm sure this notion has come up before, but perhaps a storyline evolution for you as a result of the CU would be a move to emulating your role in WoW. Dancer/doctor or even dancer/combat medic? Professional healers nowadays are so few and far between anytime I play my doctor/cm Esh'elon I usually try to take care of all the black bars I see.

I just wanted to give you some of my input as it would be nice to see your lithe form cutting through the tall grasses of Kashyyk.

In my experience mass usually doesn't hinder the craft's maneuverability.

ooh.. that is a compelling argument, and I am very glad you want to see more of my lithe form. *purrs*

If Iago can quest successfully on Kashyyk there is no reason you couldn't.

I've thought about going the healer route, like you said. But what I keep coming back to is that Ekade, as a character, does not seem like the doctor type. It just does not "feel" right to me. She is a physical creature, hence the reason I am so drawn to melee classes. She is a dancer with and without a weapon.

Otherwise, it makes perfect sense to be a Doc or CM. The nice thing about being a healer in WoW.. I am always in demand. I imagine it is much the same here.

As I understand it no it doesn't not change your manuverability in the slightest. From what I hear this and the Imperial Royal Guard Tie Interceptor are now two of the best overall ships in the game. In both PvP and PvE due to their excellent balance.

The problem with the X-Wing was the limited Mass but with an extra 80k you have a lot more options. Especially if you get some nice RE'd equipment. Now you're really only 30k lighter then a KSE but your frame is much harder to hit then the KSE.

Hojo has been using the quests on Kashyyyk as a means to drive the RP.

The whole storyarc of Isleh being poisoned by a sniper happened during one quest where completing part of it leads to being ambushed by a Blackscale Trandoshian and where one managed to successfully caused a bleed shot.

Who sent the Trandoshian to ambush us? - Czarian, of course.
They were fairly easy to beat, Why? - They were a diversion.

Why would Czarian send a diversion? - Czarian is a poison expert + Isleh is bleeding ... Isleh must have been poisoned during the ambush...

I see an opportunity to not only have quests, but use the quests to create and add to RP story arcs.
