Well, the problem with that is.. and I really hate to admit this.. Kirk is just so flat-out pwn at everything that my plans to seduce him would backfire completely. I would find myself utterly seduced by him after but one intense Kirk kiss.

Kirk is like James Bond.. he can make any woman his own just by looking at her the right way.

It's obvious that the idea of Twi'lek slaves is a shameless ripoff of the Orion Slave Girl concept. And Kirk most definately indulged in that.

He can get away with it. He's Kirk. He's from the old school. He's not afraid to slap a woman. (In the future, political correctness is abolished for a time.. then is re-instated around the time of ST:TNG)

True... buuuuuut... hasn't there always been this debate about the originality of ideas between... Star Trek, Star Wars, and Battlestar Galactica? Wither it was fueled by the press or fans or the producers of shuch shows... there may have, indeed, been just a little meshing more than snatching of ideas happening in eunision here.

She's got a point here though.... ST vs ST:TNG... Women got more aggressively intact in the latter. Battlestar Galactica... New BG... Men are replaced by women and kick ass.

Star Wars.... the women always kicked ass! Or... got pregnant and crazy... but 'still' kicked ass.

Also the Cosmo DNA Device rejuvenates planet Earth's ecosystem AND resurrects the crew's deceased ship captain (8 years before the Genesis Device and Spock's rez).
