If he was pwning with a starter dagger, he was catching total noobs or people with no health

PVP videos always make someone look like a badass in wow..there was this one rogue owning people in BRS...too bad the guyw as fighting people 10 levels below him and total noobs..half his targets ran off into lava.

Take mr. rogue against anyone who knows anything of the game, and is ready and that's not happening.

WoW = MMO For Dummies. In a month's time i had hit lev 60 and was considered the top alliance pvper...and everytime someone saw my gear they were like "haha you suck" then they die.
Have you seen the World Of Roguecraft video? A guy was walking around pwning people on a PvP server with a starter dagger.

PvP in WoW is easy if you are a rogue.

I'm sorry, but you can't use your experiences as an easy-mode alliance rogue on a WoW PvP server (ie. 13 year old hangout) as the basis for any points regarding MMO PvP.
Some could say that about the Warlock Video I saw wathcing him Pwn As you call it..Many many people in the battlegrounds. I belive I saw him outnumbered 3-1 too

yes well next time you're not busy I believe I would like to find out if I have the answer. And maybe Jabe can watch ;)
w00t!!!!

That's exactly how people should approach PvP. You should always think you can win.

If you gave up after only duelling me 2 times, I would be dissappointed. I expect you to come knocking on my door ready to try something new. This in turn will push me to improve as well.

The game really is rich in possibilities and it is fun seeing how things work against other people.

Well I should also hope you don't wait around to get beat to improve. You should be improving constantly so that each time you duel you have something new.

You must always be constantly evolving if you wish to remain teh pwn.

Don't you worry about that. I have something new I desire to try on you. It will either be very deadly, or just a bad idea. We'll have to see how it plays out.

And yes, always in motion teh pwn is.

I'm game anytime as well. You guys did too good a job at getting me excited about PvP.

I realized the severity of my affliction yesterday as I arrived on Endor to help my guildies grind. By the cantina some people were duelling and I was very tempted to stop and duel some of them. I resisted.. but it was hard. Must... pwn... *gets the shakes*

Honestly I still get very jittery before I fight, especially if it is my first fight of the day. Pre-game jitters I guess. In a way that is the addiction.. human competition and the inherent unpredictability that comes with it. You just don't know what someone is going to try to do to you.

Maybe I am more excited about it than I should be, I can't help it.. it's fun.

What I am missing is the joy of mass-combat. In WoW, duelling was very pointless becuase the rock-paper scissors aspect of the classes lent itself to generally predictable battles with limited options. Their implementaion of BattleGrounds made group PvP very available and usually very fun.

For those who don't know, a battle ground is a PvP instance with equally matched sides. Each side would have a specific objective in the match.

I hope SWG offers is a good implementaion of BG's some time soon. Team-PvP was a blast in WoW and I imagine it would be a blast here too.

That's how I felt last night, we went hunting on Yavin for fun in a small group and I picked up a new skill and the first thing that poped in my mind was "Now I just need to pwn someone" Luckily for me Shensen was willing to oblige. :D

Yeah me too. I still like getting the practice in even if I have little chance of winning. Still gives me some insight into strategy and stuff.

Exactly I noticed a difference even in the second battle. You were much more aware and conservative. Not over extending yourself but instead it seemed like you were waiting on the good timing to unload on me.

And for me it helped me get a better idea or feel for my action bar and how far to push it without hanging myself.

One thing I wanted to offer to Hashum and especially Jabe.. it is not a waste of time to practice duels with a less than uber saber. You can still work on your defensive play.

You have a slight handicap in your defense because your limited offense won't have you opponent healing as much, but it is still good practice nonetheless.
