Ok...NOW that I've got a little time w/o wedding stuff to manage... I'm here. Bring me the argument 
I say:
1. Screw the canon. SWG has. I see Thrawn...I say, "More than the movies count here." (In fact, I've hugged him. )
2. It'd be tricky to make a story work around spice use that isn't already an obvious one. There's the "falling from grace" version, but that doesn't have many supporting characters....and there's the "rescue from the pit" version, which leaves everyone back where they started and no fun twists. If you can make it into something more than this, I'll be impressed.
3. The Spice Girls are evil. I love them. They should never have existed.
4. With all that I've read on this subject today, I'm very pleased that this isn't an MMO based on something Frank Herbert had a hand in...
