Guide to what armor you can wear after CURB...

the armor scenario got very complicated, so here goes:
There are three MAIN types of armor: Battle, Assault, and Recon
specific professions can only wear certain types: If you're not certed for it, you cannot even equip it to wear it. Those professions are:
Battle armor: Carbineer, CM, CH, Doc, Fencer, Pike, Ranger, Swordsman
Assault: BH, commando, squad leader
Recon: Pistoleer, riflman, smuggler
Any other profession:psg's
so no basic fighting profession, or any crafting profession, or any entertainer profession can wear anything but a psg...
Now, each type breaks down into their specific types of armor:
Battle: Padded, Marauder (quest), RIS (loot and craft), Bone, Kash Blk Mtn, Ith Defender, stormtrooper, reb battle armor
Assault: Comp, marauder (quest), chitin, BH (looted and crafted), Mandolorian (looted and crafted) Kash Hunting, Ith Sentinal, shocktrooper, reb assault
Recon: Tantel, ubese, mabari, recon marauder (quest?), kash ceremonial, Ith guardian, scouttrooper, reb marine armor
NOW, each specific type of armor is broken down into 3 lvls: basic standard, and advanced...it is based on the fighting skill level of your character...what levels cert which level of armor, I don't know.
there are no %'s anymore on the armor, and I havn't tested it out as too how it works in combat, so no info there
BUT, what you can expect is prices to soar like a mofo...all of the armors went up in resources to make by an AS. and not only did the number go up, but most or all include very specific resources (not generic ones)...in fact there are 20 new resources that aren't even in the game until the CURB goes live, so expect delays on getting ANY armor after it goes live...
also, AS's with bonuses to xp mean little to nothing anymore, since the experimentation process is totally simplified, that all it does is add more condition to the object (same goes for WS), not the quality...
BUT on top of all that, the CURB makes armor and weapons the least factor in determining whether you will win a fight, it's all in the skill level of you and your opponent...
your combat skill level determines everything..if your opponent is 5 levels higher than you, he will kick you ass to oblivion with even a cdef pistol, and vice versa...no armor or weapon will prevent an ass whooping...
so what does this all mean? not sure, but I'm sure it will include upset people
