That aside, it is kinda dumb that she got the boot. But there is a sad bit of truth to what X'an said earlier...private schools have the luxury of making their own rules if they want to divorce themselves from public funding. If you want your kid to go to what sounds like a private Christain school (a key element of this discussion), then you play by their rules (stupid though they may be). Exclusionary as it sounds, that's how things work around here. Ya know, that whole church and state thing.
Private *anything* works much the same way.
Take a web site for example...
If you are using someone else's forum, you need to follow their rules. They have the right to boot you with or without provocation.
It is their right, their freedom, to do so.
We've booted people who do not adhere to our "beliefs" or were not willing to follow the rules. Whether you like the analogy or not, it is how things work.
Of course, this was not meant as a personal attack but a mere observation of how far the right will try to push their agenda. Children always are the first ones to suffer. It's not right.
Setting a standard and sticking to it may very well be the same as "pushing an agenda". If you think only the far right does this.. well.. I have bad news for you... you've been hopelessly politically polarized.
