Isn't a full virus scan overkill if you just installed factory software on a clean wiped drive?

Not if he didn't do a Low Level Format, their could still be a boot sector virus..

I would doubt their are any problems and it is probably overkill but heh, why the hell not. Most virus programs bug the fuck out of you till you run the first virus scan.

FYI, when you install SWG from scratch, it takes an HOUR for it to DL and install all the updates
