Man and tyo think the same people who buy from you could get the same parts from me for 1k a level? mmmm makes ya think. Then again now that I heard people a buyin parts for so much I wish I had a vendor to put them on. All I have is the bazars.Skarr wrote:I have been selling space parts, and since I knew that kuat parts have a higher chance of making firespray discs, I have just been "storing" them on my vendor until I get enough to put em together...so instead of the 5k per ship lvl of part, I put them at 100k per lvl....well I had two lvl 6 pieces at 600k each that someone bought...so desperate ppl will pay for anything

I've noticed a slow down in saled of my looted ship parts. I used to put stuff on the Bazaar and it would go fast. About 5 days ago things just stopped selling.
As for SW.. I can barely ever find one that is not AFK. I have a good amount of stuff that I need RE'd.. and I am having big issues with my total inventory.

So many things to speak on...
As far as will the mission payout nerf help to slow down the economy, the easy answer is yes yes and yes. In fact, that is the only answer. If you don't know, 95% of all new credits brought into the economy are from missions. The economy is vastly overinflated and the value of the credit decreases exponentially each day. With the stifling of this credit increase, the economy can start to stablize as there will begin to be a difinative range of credits in existance.
Without the easy access to credits, people will start being more cautious with their now deflated disposable income. Will some premium items still sell for astronomical amounts? Sure, but you will see the sale of those start to rapidly decrease and there will be a widening gap between the haves and have nots.
For anyone in business, the SWG economy is a theoretical dream. Things that have never existed in the real world exist in this economy, and you can see various business theories at work. If anything is true in economics, it's that the market will stablize itself and this economy is no different.
Are there still ways to make money in this game? Yes. Can you still do 20k missions on Dathomir? Probably. It'll probably take some time for all of that to catch on, though. So, at least we'll start to see a stabilization take place before it tapers off again.
As far as things selling on the bazaar, you have to understand that most people have gotten past the entry level stage (where most of the bazaar loot comes from) and they need level 5+ parts at this point. That's why those aren't moving as well any longer.
If you need anything RE'd, I'd suggest you make good friends with around 5 or so shipwrights (there are tons of them out there now). That way you can get things knocked off whenever you need to. Well, either that, or go to a low population planet and build a compound...

Ohh.. Tramel touched on a good point that I want to add to...
There will always be a "sweet spot" for cash missions. And guess that.. they systematically nerf every one of them. Players are very industrious.. they will find the next one in short order and people will flock to that until the devs catch on.
I used to do pubam battlelord missions on endor for 25k. You could draw them from the mission terminal solo. That went away and now you could only draw missions according to the toughness of your group. I am sure there were 2 or 3 things after that which got nerfed in turn.
Like Tramel said, the economy does work itself out. They do keep track of how many credits pour in (faucet) and how many go out (drain). If "too much" is coming in or out.. they make an adjustment.

You can sell components to the chassis dealer now. Typically you get 1k per level of the component.
It's a nice little chunk of change per flight.
