And Leia maybe a main character but she's really only in it for sub love story plots. Her being shot only counted if it influenced the out come of her love triangle, which it didn't because Luke was her brother negating her triangle. And she didn't even cry, couldn't have hurt that bad.

Yeah, you're right. That whole PRINCESS and AMBASSADOR title/role thing was irrelevant. In fact, I'm pretty sure the whole movie could have been made without her. Vader only tortured her to find out if she loved Han or Luke more. It had nothing to do with the secret Rebel base.

Hey, without her, they wouldn't have needed to even GO to the Death Star. Problem solved! We could cut away half of Episode IV and be better off for it.

Easy there, I don't hate women. And I said that her role was necessary for the love triangle in the first two movies and there her role didn't stopping being vital until after Luke discovers that she's his sister, after she'd killed Jabba. And frankly no one wants to see a women get shot, which is probably why it was such a lame hit.

Luke got his hand cut off, I'd just like to see Solo take a hit. Like to see what kind of character he really has. Does he grin and bear it, or does he break down like the nerf hearder Leia said he was?

I think if Han took a shot he'd be all sarcastic about it. I don't know how to be sarcastic about being shot, but when I cut my thumb I was exaggerating the whole thing. "Great, Im going to lose my thumb." or- "Im a one handed freak of nature, I can't carry on!" my wife of course just called me a baby, and hit me.
