I on the other hand can only remember about 4 English teachers that I did like. Of course I'm terrible at English so maybe that's why I didn't like many of them.Kyanus wrote:I've only met four English teachers (from grade school to college level) I didn't like. English--as both a subject and for teachers--just rules.I have to say I'm impressed! I teach jr. high English, and I appreciate all the English teacher love in here!
But of course, as an English major, I am most definitely biased.

My 4th grade teacher Mr. Pangman, he was the sporty type and just happens his sport was Rugby. I will never forget all the times he came into school looking like he just went a few rounds with Tyson.

I have two teacher that I value throughout high school, one serious and one not so.
The first was my English teacher, Mr Luther. Although my language skills have lapsed, he was an excellent mentor. It was always encouraging going into class and listening. He always offered suggestions for improvement in a kind way.
The other was my science teacher(can't remember her name). Lets just say I wasn't studying. I don't think anyone passed that class =)

Heh, I remember we had a talent day in Mrs. Collins music class in 6th grade. I had been watching my brothers Gallager VHS tape earlier in the week and just knew I could tell those same jokes without any curse words.
hehehehe
One of the lines was about how women were nuts and men were bolts and that men liked to eat out they just dont like to leave the house.
Everyone laughed me right into detention LOL.
I was all like "What did I do!!!"
I think I was 12...cant really remember. But how many 12yr olds in 1989 living in rural North Carolina knew what "eat out" was supposed to mean! After I found out I couldnt believe the teachers knew.
hehehehe

I'd have to say my hottest teacher was Ms. Lotz in HS. She was only my homeroom teacher but she was a cutie. Her and Mr. Follenweider got the were politely asked to resign after my senior year cause they got busted getting hot and heavy in the paper closet by the photcopier.
