I agree with you T, but then I still like the idea of perma-death *shrug* it might give malc a reason to keep that skull of yours he had made ..... :P

Continuity wise; I agree with everything said here. Gameplay wise.... Here's my view on Jedi.

1) Give visibility and open attack within npc cities for showing off.

2) Have factions attack and 'cause' faction tef for opposite side factions on site of Jedi.

3) Allow for Master/Padawan grouping to counter bounty attacks. But only allow this for groups of two.

4) Adjust the Padawan system so that to a certain lvl... Jedi will not pop up on terminals till their template can handle pvp. ((This is in the interest of not having a 2 day Jedi get popped by an experienced BH)) A transition system into the PvP ranks is what seems to be unbalanced and missing as far as Jedi go.

Just some of my thoughts on it. Continuity wise though... and this taking into account that maybe Yoda and Obi-wan were too late in warning off Jedi of going to Coruscant; Jedi simply do not belong in this timeframe. I'll say that even with going for it myself and playing my two toons as RP Jedi.

I support this 100%. I can remember the times when you never saw a jedi in town. Once they dropped saber TEF, then the all popped out their holes and so began the death of a system.

As for the above reply about not letting paddies on the terms till a certain level, thats bunk in my opinion. ALL jedi know what their getting into when they become an initiate. If you dont like being hunted, then dont go jedi or go deep into endor/yavin and grind alone. With the Ryyat Trail being the new grinding hotspot for Jedi and no BH droids tracking, i would think this whole paddies sheding a tear thing would be over by now.

The problem with #4 there is the visability. A Padawan can quite easily grind Jedi without getting on the Terminals. Many have done it and even grinded to Jedi Knight without being listed. By giving Padawans this open door you just further complicate the solutions we're looking for.

They should add back saber TEF for all Jedi and also increase the consequences for gaining visibility especially in an NPC city. I'm hoping there will be a negative impact related to the FRS when that comes back out.

It would be a negative impact if they leave the FRS tied to the GCW. I hope they implement the elite-special forces-combatant triple tier system if FRS remains tied to the GCW

It was suggested by the GCW correspondent first I believe. Basically you make elite one level higher than special forces. If you are Jedi, you can not become Special Forces, you go directly to Elite. Non-Jedi have the choice to go SF (non-Jedi pvp) or go Elite when needed (anyone and everyone).

As for the comments about a minimum level for Padawans to get on the terminals, that is absolute junk. As a Jedi that got through 80% of his grind before CHOOSING to get on the terminals (the CU came out and I wanted to show off a bit, I also completed the last 20% solo as well), I have no respect for Jedi that do not have the patience to do the grind the right way. It can be done, pre or post CU. All it takes is patience and constant vigilance (watch for player fly-bys or NPCs, unequipping robes/saber after every fight, etc.).
