Wharsloth or anyone, nobody is denying you the right to be disappointed over the game, not to play it or to express your thoughts about it.

All I was saying is, Jabe made a not very well thought-out statement.

I am not getting in to this any farther. My statement stands.

If you think its not well though out, then that is your right. I say how I feel about a situation. Everyone here liked the caviar a month ago. I explained how the caviar was important, more important than most of us assumed it was. I explained how the chef does not even really know how important the caviar is to his customers. That is how I feel. That is my own interpretation of the analogy. Instead of reading in to that part of my post everyone decided to analyze the "shit" part, which isn't even the point.

I can say it tastes like anything I want to, because that is how it tastes to me. If you disagree then do so respectfully. I never attacked anyone, yet I am the one being called a demagogue and being told my opinion is not well thought out. Its well thought out because its what I wanted to say about it and thats all an opinion is.

The restaurant is still in business, most of its customers are my friends. I am hoping the chef adds some different seasoning soon even if he doesn't take out the one I don't like.

I like Calamari. Been eating it for years at the same restaurant by the same chef. I sat in the same chair everytime I came in. This is what I do. I look forward to doing that when I am at work. The chef is in charge of an aspect of my life that has become very important to me. Sometimes I don't realize how much I enjoy the Calamari or how much it means to me to be able to go eat that same Calamari every day.

Today the Chef started wiping his ass on the Calamari. He told his customers he's not going back, this is the new recipe.

Again, I am not at all insulted by what continuation of your analogy means for me because I am still playing (that was not the point I answered to you). I was showing you you are emotional about this. It is clouding your judgment. Then if someone points it out to you, you are offended for being guilty of it?

Apparently you're not the type of person to proudly admit the misbehavior you have been warned about. Instead, even if you have been prooven (I could do it for all three of your recent posts) to be emotional about it (and this is what the problem with NGE for MOST people IS, that their reaction on it is emotionally clouded and heated), you will continue to dig yourself into your (to others potentially insulting) entrenchment.

By making a statement on internet forums you have to accept that it may be scrutinized by others and be willing to defend it with more than just "that is what it is and you can **** yourself, I don't care" type of attitude. Only the ones worth of admiration will admit to their mistakes.

Gripe to your heart's content but don't come into thread thats trying to address some in game mechanic or topic and derail it. It seems like a simple request, don't overcomplicate things just try to be respectful of the others still

Now I get it. You think in some way I am saying how I feel but I expect people to take it as a matter of fact. Which is not true.

The problem is I am not reading this thread like you. I am not focusing in and figuring out how to prove that Jabe is emotional and pissed and that he is saying things that don't make sense now. Honestly if all you're saying is that I am being emotional, then you are right.

I ranted. I took a thread that was apparently the holy grail of logic and just said whatever I wanted without thinking about it. So go on and lament in making me look like an idiot. If I cared about someone pulling me apart in this forum, I wouldn't have said anything. You see I am at a point with the situation where I just want to belt off a few more comments and be on my way and I am fine with that.

Tell ya what. You make a list of things you want me to admit to and I will admit to them as long as they are truthful. The only thing I have to say to you is this:

You call me inflmatory/demagogic. Maybe I am. Do I want to be called demagogic? Not really. Maybe its because I've seen that word describe Hitler too many times.

The funny thing is you've subjected yourself to the same criticism by trying to make the point. A war is not worth fighting when you are doomed to becoming part of the problem that started it in the first place.

We're on all different sides concerning the NGE. Let's not single each other out over it. Let's just consider that every bad post about the NGE is simply a reflection, or perception rather, of what the person thinks of the NGE regardless of other views of it. Again, this applies for the good posts as well.

We're going to get this. It happens with all major changes. Just don't hold a grudge over this; nor stir one up. Both sides need to try and be open-minded of the other. If we bump heads... Let's try not to lose bearing on keeping the community together as best we can at least.
