"Intelligent Design" can't be taught in school

The term itself isn't there.

Check for yourself.

What are you now? A black panther?

I don't care if the term is there or not. The law defends the term.

So yeah, you win on a technicality.

The law, however, says you're still wrong.

There is no seperation of church and state, just a prohibition for government support or endorsment of a religion. The freedom of religion is also meant to keep one from being imposed/persecuted.

As far as public schooling, which is mostly a government controlled and regulated entity, the same policies would apply.

If they were to teach any kind of creation you may have to say they need to be fair and teach ALL of them.

Seperation of church and state is often misunderstood. But seeing as how public schools are a government controlled system it is fitting that the first amendment be carried out to the letter. However, if you are going to teach evolution you should have to teach other explanations.

I will have to get into macro/micro evolution, and different creation stuff later. But evolution should be presented as theory, and maybe amongst other alternatives.
