Should Scum and Villany Night be mobile?
i think it should be from place to place to promote new cities and show how it is in a different area

Overall, I voted to move it sooner rather than later. It looks like the "move vote" is larger, but since we haven't heard from everyone I'll just propose a tentative plan in case the move trend continues. I think that I have an idea that might mesh for both Pros & Cons:
One Sunday out of the month for starters, just to probe the Galaxy?
Pros/Cons:
- Whatever we may lose from potential RP'ers in the Mos Eisely crowd, we may gain from moving it to another location. As has been stated there are players out there that hunger for roleplay, but don't know that our "cult" is small but growing more and more connected. I used to be in the same boat, as most of us have. And one Sunday night out of four should'nt hurt our Tattooine presence that badly.
- Adding new flavor for those that already are S&V regulars. While I am not bored with The Lucky Despot at all, I think that we have enough players to take our roleplay "on tour" right now.
We have the means to do this now and I think, in this case, we should oblige the opportunites as they come.
Move Location Idea #1 (Sooner): the HQ of the Crimson Legion Guild <CRIM>.
- The "co-leader" of <CRIM> Dr. Griggs Carnacious is an eager roleplayer who, as far as I know, has yet to join our RP stylings
Griggs has juice with at least 100 other players in about 4 different player cities from last count.
While running a guild the size of CRIM may pre-occuppy Griggs himself, I betcha he could give us a nod or two.
I'd have to do more research to find out if CRIM has a single facility to hold a large group, but even if not, I know Keer wouldn't mind a shady "block party" of unrestricted debauchery.
If we have to do it outside in someone's player city, think of it as New Orleans during Mardi Gras (or a rowdy Oktober Fest, for all our European friends
). It would give some players the opportunity to wager bets on their champion pets in Pet vs. Pet Gambling. What could be more Scummy & Villainous than betting on the Star Wars equivalent of cock/pit bulldog fighting?
Move Location Idea #2 (Later): Club Midnight Casino, Nocturnus, Lok.
- This is Keer's home so I'm biased, but when it's finished, Club Midnight, an enterprise owned and operated by pirates & smugglers, is a natural for Scum & Villainy night. I only say "later" because the work is in progress.
Not too mention that Club Midnight opening night is sure to be some treat (shameless plug).
Whatchy'allthink?

Those are fantastic suggestions Keer!!
I'd almost want to plan a little something extra so the show is good when we travel. Though this is not a requirement.
All in favor of making Keer the travelling S&V coordinator say Aye!

In my opinion, we should have a static schedule to move S&V night. Like say every other night, or every month. Since its like a meet and greet for the underworld of gorath...it should be mobile.

Ah ken dig it.Ekade wrote: All in favor of making Keer the travelling S&V coordinator say Aye!

Keer'd have no problem giving the good lookout on hoodlum meeting spots and those that like to spot them.
Just remember, if the "Impossibles" show up, it wasn't Keer. He ran out of aliases three busts ago...but he'd be happy to slice your ID smartcard for you. *wink*

I know that the Times has a section dedicated to the weeks events and that we could easily advertise where the next S&V night may be. It may not bring in a ton of new faces, but I imagine there will be a few every week as our subscription list continues to grow.
