I would love to RP with a jedi.. you should make your way to S&V.. except maybe not so noticable as a jedi ya know..

I walk in to the Emperor's retreat today, a place where I am usually TEF'd or overt and I feel falsely safe about it. I walk in to the room that is down the hall from Lord Vader and and just one floor under the Emperor...

And I thought them getting near the retreat was bad enough, I know Imperials who don't have access to that room much less an overt Rebel. He may as well have killed Imperials in the Emperor's chamber.

Continuity has officially died. Its no longer hurting or mangled, its just plain out the window. RIP continuity and common sense, I would like to say I missed you but I never got to know you.

He may have done the emporer's retreat missions as an imperial before he became a rebel. I don't think access has anything to do with your faction, it just has to do with what missions you've completed. That being said it is still bullshit.

Yes, the only place to maintain a sense of continuity is with other roleplayers. You go out into the wild and you will see "jedi" with silly names calling Darth Vader a punk to his face.

Getting near the retreat I can live with, killing outside once you've downed the guards? Sure, why not. Sticking your light saber up some Imperial's rear while Darth Vader the man who single handedly killed all of them stands around? Sorry, thats a bit too broken.

Rebels shouldn't be able to go inside the Emperor's retreat. Period. For as many things that I choose not to complain about, I don't think its too outrageous to expect this to be changed.

...but really continuity has been dead for a long time.

It's a shame about Spuds. Keer knows him and the account that unlocked him. He can actually roleplay, but he is a powergamer of the first order. He'll proudly tell you that this is his 7th MMORPG. That name is his way of spitting on the game, provoking debate, and showing his "ownership".

Anyway, man. It hurts me to see this too. It's a shame that we should have to lower our expectations to have a good time. Which, for a roleplayer, is like having to shrink your imagination, your engine for this game in the first place. It hurts. It makes your ears and nose bleed. It sucks.

My best advice isn't that good, but try to RP around and through it. Go into that Retreat and do what you went there to do. It's funny, but you'll probably need Jedi skills to focus your mind away from them. And we always will until there is a dedicated RP server or some other vaccination.

This is just pure asshattery at its finest. You should have reported Spuds' name at the very least and what he was doing. Get his Jedi banned.

Yeah, many times I just turn off my RP and become a machine. I accomplish my task as quickly as possible and get back to the RP.

I don't like the Jedi either, and I'm not too sure why. Its not like I have anything against them personally, I just think its taken away from the gameplay to have them as playable characters.

The amount of whining and crying over Pub 10 is honestly disgusting. People can't seem to enjoy the game unless they are a Jedi, its unbelievable.
